Dresses: a 9-month uniform!

Dresses dresses dresses.. all I can say is that they are every pregnant woman’s daily outfit! I’m not going to lie, I miss wearing pants and there are a lot of maternity pants out there, but who am I kidding? There is nothing more comfy than wearing a dress..especially in this heat! 😅

As a pregnant woman I’m happy that this is a season for dresses! Summer is all about colors and prints 🤗

and I found this pretty green dress (side note: don’t you think it’s so hard to find a nice green piece?! I love this color but I have to search a lot to find a green dress or top!) Back to my dress 😬 I found it in the non-maternity section which is absolutely fine. I’ve been wearing regular dresses but I just get them a size bigger.. sometimes much bigger just to fit the baby bump haha.. point is if you are pregnant you don’t really have to stick with maternity clothes while shopping!

Floral Dress and Floral Background 🌼🌸

I can’t believe we are in the second half of the year and it’s July already! 🤗

The weather now is extremely hot here in the UAE, and till now I don’t know how I wore this long sleeve dress! But to be honest the fabric is so soft and it’s the kind of fabric that cools you down if you know what I mean😊

What I loved the most about this dress is the floral print!! I’ve always loved this print and it’s one that stays on trend and just perfect for the summer.

 

I found this pretty floral background and I had to stop for a quick shoot! “Floral dress and a beautiful floral background 🌸” because why not 😉

Ramadan looks

Hello my lovely readers!

Its been awhile since my last blog post, but you know it’s Ramadan now and I don’t know how time flies by so quickly! Plus to be honest I was feeling a bit sick with the pregnancy but now I’m feeling much better el hamdullelah. So, before Ramadan ends, I’m sharing with you my favorite looks from this month:
First one is this beautiful Kaftan by the amazing designer Saher Dia. What I loved the most about it is how it looks simple yet very elegant.

My 2nd favorite look is this stunning abaya designed by a very close and talented friend: Soha. When Soha sent me her “Sohamt” look book, I immediately chose this abaya! I fell in love with the color, the gorgeous details and the fabric!

My 3rd favorite look is this layered dress all the way from Kuwait!! I found this Instagram account @f.instyle and I literally loved everything on her page! Such a creative designer- worth checking out!

Shades of Love

 

As a child I wasn’t a big fan of the color pink. I always felt it was too girlie (as if I wasn’t a girl haha)! But with time I started to fall in love with the color and felt that it represented so many meaningful values like: feminism, love, hope, sweetness.. and many other things!

For today’s look, I chose to wear different shades of pink and I accessorized it with a simple touch of red! So I can call this outfit: Shades of love.
I immediately fell in love with this one shoulder top, and what better way to style this kind of top than adding some long earrings?!

A simple pair of high waist pants with pumps and the outfit is complete and to be honest it ended up being one of my favorite looks so far from this year.

Mules obsession

I always cared about choosing the right slippers and mules, because they have to be comfy! Like extra comfy! Then what’s the point of wearing flats and not heels?! It’s kinda hard to find slippers that are pretty and comfy at the same time. But I found this French brand “Line Loup” that designs the most comfortable and chic interior slippers and mules! When I checked their website, I didn’t know which ones to choose but I ended up choosing the Cavaliere Bordeaux mules. I fell in love with the color and the velvet fabric.

The moment I tried them on, I didn’t want to take them off! I can honestly wear these mules every day! They are so pretty, and they would go with any outfit! They are beyond comfortable, and plus let’s not forget mules are so trendy now!

Wedding day

Hello my loves!

It’s been a long time since my last blog post! I missed you all and I missed sharing my diaries with you. I can’t believe we are in March already, I feel like I ​just got married yesterday! I started 2018​ with lots of love and laughs. I got married to the person I can finally call my best friend and the love of my life. ​As I started a new life​, ​it came with it new responsibilities and priorities ​and it took ​me some time to organize everything. And that’s why I’ve been a way for a while  but now I’m back! ​Today, I’m so happy to share with you some of the highlights of my special day, and I hope you like it!

 For the wedding dress, it took me a while till I found and designed the “IT dress”. I visited many wedding ​stores in the UAE,​ and everything I found was either too simple, or too extra for me  or above my budget. And you know you can’t just order your wedding dress online! You have to try it; what if it needs alteration? What if the quality is not like what you expected?! Do you get me? After a lot of searching, finally a good friend of mine​ introduced me to the talented designer Marmar Halim;​ who from the first time we met, had the sketch of my wedding dress done! And I can’t express how happy I was with the results, the details and the quality of the dress.

For the hair and makeup, I decided to keep it simple. Just how I usually look, but of course with some extra touches!

​If you are getting married soon, my only advice to you is to enjoy every moment, and just have fun preparing your wedding! Because we ladies all have been waiting for our special day, so we might as well make it memorable and enjoyable.

From Miss to Mrs

This weekend will forever be one of the most memorable highlights I’ve ever had and the reason being is that I got to celebrate my last day of being single with my favorite ladies at an amazing isolated getaway at the desert Palm Resort and Hotel in Dubai.

We stayed at the pool residence two bedroom villa and threw a beautiful retro themed bridal shower outdoors by our private pool. Their food was absolutely delicious, the villa was immensely spacious and their staff were even more accommodating than usual.

Most of you know that I don’t really like going over board when it comes to outfits and dressing up for occasions so I decided to go with a simple outfit wearing a pair of black leggings and an oversized white shirt with a retro hairdo and a red rose.. because it’s a special day

 

We started the day off with fun bachelorette games, having so much food OFCOURSE, delicious cake, popped bubbly, and most importantly ended it by dancing the night away!

I have to say my girls were absolutely amazing, they really made my day so memorable and I can’t thank them enough for such a fun day filled with love, laughter, and dancing! I couldn’t have asked for more

On that note, it’s time to get back to my wedding preps so I’ll see you all after the big day!

The villa

Sometimes all we need is a small staycation even inside our own city! If we don’t have the chance to travel when we feel like we need a vacation, then we don’t have to! We might as well find another way to have fun and do something new. And that’s what I did last weekend! I decided to spend it at one of the stunning villas at The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal hotel where the villa felt like home; yet the luxurious hotel and its service, and the gorgeous view of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque made me feel that I’m in another place! There is something about this hotel that is so magical.

The villa had a beautiful terrace with a swimming pool, where my friends and I had a small BBQ. Yes a BBQ! The hotel provides a BBQ service for you and your guests! And the food was absolutely AH-MAH-ZING!

A fun chilled weekend with my family and friends, nothing crazy, and that’s what I exactly needed after a long busy week.

Red is the new black

I’ve shared recently on my Instagram stories about the red trend and how it became the “IT” color for this season! Red on red, red on white, red on pink! And they all look good together, again as I mentioned on the previous blog post that I’m loving how we don’t have limits in combining colors together or in expressing and creating our own style.

 

So here I am at Dubai Fashion Forward styling my “IT” oversized blazer with a floral red dress, and just to add a touch to this outfit I added my new “favorite” white boots that I’m telling you from now; you will be seeing me wearing them over and over again this season! I know I know, the weather here in the UAE is not a coat or boots weather, but come on! What is winter without coats and boots? And a cup of hot chocolate 🙂  yup I think I watch a lot of Christmas movies!

The art of fashion

I usually love to mix my outfits: chic and casual, sporty with a touch of class! It’s always nice to be stylish while being comfortable.

I love that lately we started seeing more people wearing sneakers with suits, dresses, and skirts! I’m not saying it just started happening, but in the past couple of years people have become more open to the idea of mix and match.

I’m going to talk about myself and say that I used to think that sneakers and kicks are made only for sporty and very casual looks. And that’s why I love fashion and how creative people and streetstyle looks could be. There are no rules in fashion! There are actually zero rules, because each one of us has their own style, own touch and own personality that reflects on their style!

Don’t listen to anyone who says that only a number of colors could be paired together and look right, or that skirts/dresses only go along with heels, or you can’t mix gold and silver, or you can’t mix different prints together! No! The beauty of it is that we now see people wearing completely different colors together and combine them in a very beautiful way, mixing two or more prints together and making them look just amazing! Please don’t limit yourself to one style, and never be afraid to try new things! Fashion is an art, and you should never limit an artist from creating and inspiring others

Sets

I know it’s been awhile since my last blog post but I’ve been so busy with planning my wedding and trying to find “the perfect” wedding dress. I honestly didn’t think it was going to be this hard choosing a specific design with so many amazing dress ideas around and please note that the wedding is only three months away with so much left to plan and I find myself forced to put the Bridezella mode ON to actually get things done Yeah I’m not stressed at all.. haha But I have to say that I’m truly enjoying every second of it and I really do miss you all and I miss sharing my diaries with you!

Now back to the blog post, finally sharing with you this beautiful and comfy set that I’m totally in love with, and can’t get myself to stop wearing.

I chose to style it with my favorite louboutin heels that I almost wear with everything! Seriously though, to me those nude pumps are the easiest to pair with anything. And let’s face it nude colors will always be my favorite

Side note, I just read the top half of my blog post and realized that I’ve officially become a bridezella complainer and didn’t think I’d ever be one but on the bright side I haven’t yet (and let’s just hope it stays that way) started annoying people, or at least they haven’t yet complained about me!

Mini staycation

Last weekend was a much needed staycation at the Four Seasons resort at jumeirah and to be honest I didn’t want to leave!

I’m going to start this post by explaining why I decided to go on my getaway and fell in love with this hotel. I was supposed to travel on a short vacay but unfortunately had some complications with some of my plans and decided to stay instead. I had to ofcourse compensate and immediately thought of a small vacation somewhere around the U.A.E.

I wanted to stay at a nice resort with a great beach view (you all should know by now my everlasting love for the beach) and the four seasons jumeirah was exactly what I was looking for! A huge luxury hotel with amazing service, stunning beach, and don’t get me started on their spa facilities!!

 

I couldn’t get myself to stop photo-shooting around the hotel! I had the perfect greenery layouts, the stunning beach views, the Arabic vintage details, and of course the gorgeous never ending pathways.

Can’t wait to get me some more much needed getaways like this..

Gingham

Lately, the gingham trend is on everyone’s current obsession list and why not?!

I remember when the only gingham we wore were black and white and that’s it. But now we have all the colors rocking the gingham style..

I see gingham dresses, pants, scarves and skirts, and all I want is to try them in different styles from vintage to retro. So you can imagine how easy it was for me to fall in love with this skirt, and those ruffles details that had me feeling like I’m strutting the Spanish streets.

I had a couple of ideas on how to style my skirt, but for this I decided to go with a simple white tee and my see through glass heels for a casual sunny day.

The cold shoulder blazer

I am a big fan of blazers, not necessarily for work but I actually love styling them on different looks! I found this classy suit at Michael Kors, a cold shoulder blazer with a cropped straight leg pants.

The moment I tried them on, I was officially obsessed! They give off the “please.. you can’t walk with me” vibe but in a nice way (like there’s ever a nice way of saying that hahaha) but you know what I mean!

And to finish it off with a chic touch, I added a leather bag and my new Christian Dior babies!

Those shoes have been on my shopping list since I saw them on the runway show! I didn’t know which color to choose, but with me being a huge fan of nude colors, it was so obvious.. because they really do work with LITERALLY everything!

First thing you see looking at those photos is that bamboo clutch/bag!

Something I always go by with my outfits is that most of the time I have an item I absolutely love, I tend to setup an entire outfit according to it!

A very basic pairing of a navy blue tank top along with a beige high waist pants.

 

The sandals as well are another standout in this outfit, I chose to go with these slick see through heels because well why not?!

All the other things came into place when I found this gorgeous massive door that blended in!

 

This indeed is one way I spiced up my summer going from bright and colorful to dim with a unique perspective!

Summer List

As soon as summer kicked off I couldn’t wait to put on my dresses and colorful outfits I had stacked up in my wardrobe weeks before June. And here’s yet another summer ensemble that I am obsessed with for different reasons.

These types of dresses are just perfect for the heat, they’re also very trendy (with the off shoulder), and they’re vibrant!

Believe it or not, I recently discovered that I actually don’t own clothing items in red and green (thanks to my mom pointing it out to me). So next item on my MOST WANTED clothes list is something green!

As for the remainder of the summer, I can’t wait to share more tips on how to beat the heat while being chic at the same time.

Rose

After discovering this chic French boutique La Fee Maraboutee in Dubai I couldn’t help but find myself get lost in translation.

The linen, the styles, the colors.. oh mon dieu!

 

I picked out their beautiful rose pink suit for a summer ensemble. The thing about suits like this is they make it so easy for you to pair things with it. Accessories for the evening, a blouse maybe for a meeting or two, and a tank top in my case for a warm sunny Monday running around from my office to an outdoor meeting.

Paired along with a nude pair of shoes, in this case I wanted to keep it all French with my louboutins haha any excuse as always!

 

 

After this photoshoot, I noticed that the background looked like I was in the La Fee Maraboutee store but The flowers and the greenery in the background was just a coincidence I promise!

Summertime

The summer of beaches, sunnies, hats , dresses, and sandals!

It is really way too hot to wear anything else, but we always find a way around it.. not this time though, this one is specifically for a sunny brunch beach kinda day.

I’ve always been in love with accessories and have always felt like they tend to give an edge to an outfit. I mean surely anyone could end up wearing the same thing but the accessories on it makes it different, unique, and says a lot about your mood I believe.

 

Here, for example, I felt like sipping on a cold Piña Colada whilst enjoying the summer heat and the refreshing beach!

The Jewel Corner

Diamonds and gold represent so many things to so many different people, but more specifically (diamonds are a girl’s best friend) us females do tend to have a special place in our hearts for diamond beauties that are rare and eyecatching. It Was Kate Hudson who best described how we all truly felt about diamonds.

“Frost yourselves…” she said, and I did with different shapes, sizes, and as many as I could; all at once. Layering and stacking up bracelets, necklaces and earrings. It’s not every day, after all, that you get to explore with diamonds and pure gold!

The ring shapes and the bracelet overlays. The diamond studs and the crescent earrings. All within your own budget limitations! Which brings me to how I discovered Jewel Corner. The Jewel Corner was recommended to me by a couple of people I know, I looked it up and read great reviews, and not just about the quality of their pieces but also about their affordable prices (which is very rare to find nowadays).

Ruffles and a denim jacket

Any big fan of sex and the city would agree that SJP totally changed our lives with ruffles! And me being obsessed with that show made me always want to walk down the streets looking as fabulous and as cool as Carrie Bradshaw!

I’ll be walking around, strutting in sandals, you’ll find ruffles in layers, and a vintage touch of just a simple jeans jacket. The intentions were to prove yet again that it’s the simplest of outfits and the classic 80s reinvention better yet rebirth touch of mixing the old with the new that will always be a major win.

I like to mix and match so even though those denim jackets would probably be the last thing you’d necessarily think of this summer, wipe that dust off of them because there’s always use for something old..

The season is summer and that means vibrant colors, tanned skin, and beach waves!Nothing beats a good flashback to the 70s with a high waist wide leg boho chic mustard pants paired with an off shoulder cropped ruffle wrinkled pink top and open toe sandals.. Ahh going through the process of putting this outfit together gets me just as excited as I was doing it!

It’s just really the perfect time to get that part of your wardrobe ready to beat the heat and still look fabulous walking or better yet strutting the warm streets of Dubai.

Simply.. DIOR

Every person has a moment they go through in life that fills them with pride and truly proves that hard work does indeed pay off one way or another. This was mine..

Head to toe dressed in Dior for the pre fall collection reveal 2017. Everything on me; the sunnies, the choker, the accessories, the dress, and the shoes were DIOR! And lord only knows how good it felt.

In collaboration with Gheir.com we where able to produce moments of magic.

 

The concept behind this shoot is portraying two different personalities and styles with one similarity.. their love for Dior!

Candy Cane

It’s almost summer and I decided to show off my favorite trends of the year in a very quick shoot. Long sleeves, bow ties, and stripes.. I felt so fresh with this pairing, I went with a subtle white knee length skirt for my candy cane shirt.

It is such a spring/summer outfit yet I have to be one to admit it does remind of Christmas and you must have figured out by now how much I love Christmas!

I always want my outfits to represent the playful side of me, I always say it’s an art and representation of what a person is. And with outfits, i tend to play around with different styles because I can always show how i feel and yes most of the time they actually uplift my mood. Maybe it’s just as simple as putting on a shirt and letting it do the magic.

Laced up

Yet another trend that I’ve instantly fallen in love with are waist belts.

This Citlali lace-up top to be specific was something that stood out to me as soon as I saw it! It’s got like a loose lace up corset belt tied around the waist line of the top transforming it from just a plain shirt to a wild and playful item that catches everyone’s attention.

 

Because red is already a pop of color I paired it with a simple brown trousers and my nude Louboutin’s. Making the outfit look as simple as I could possibly make it by mixing and matching nude palettes around the red.

So here’s a tip from me to you.. When you have an item that stands out and want to revolve the entire concept around it, tone it down with your pairings. For me I tend to lean on the Nude Color Palettes, always so simple and classy!

Fresh out of the 80s, feeling that denim on denim look, it’s a flashback.. no wait! It just never gets old!
I love anything and everything vintage. It’s not just a word to me, vintage is a style, an artistic vision, a creative mind, and a look that’s always on my checklist!

I paired my high waist jeans with a cropped yellow sweater and a denim printed jacket.
Remember the good old days when we put on our hoop earrings and walked around feeling fly?! Well, to me those days never went out of date!
As colorful as this might seem to you, walking around in it made me feel so fresh.

Layering

I’m one who is fascinated by things that stand out, and who isn’t really?!
At this point we go through our wardrobe and find so many items and pieces that we’ve only worn once or twice and no longer know what to do with them.

Here I decided to show how you could always make use of your wardrobe. The skirt is something I recently purchased on my last shopping spree and am definitely sure that I will be putting it through everything because I’m obsessed with it! Paired it with this bell sleeve blouse (on trend) and for a unique touch added this cropped top that I loved so much. This way my added bonus is the cropped top, wore it before but still found a way to make use of it again without even it looking like the same top anymore. The plus side is it made the top look unique and one of a kind, lets face it the chances of you running into someone in public wearing the same top are very low!

Finally, adding a touch of sass as per the usual and that is.. RED!

My Haven

Here’s how it began.. The value of happiness can not be estimated, It can not be described, it can only be felt by you!
When in Maldives, staying in such hotel know from experience that there is such a thing as guaranteed happiness.
The island is like a safe haven where you get to experience blessings and beautiful scenes in their finest of forms. You sit there and have your breath taken away almost instantly!

I was barefooted the entire time dressing up in dresses that made me feel like I belonged. Dresses that represented me and my haven. From different local designers that I sincerely love, as inspiring as each could be in their own way. Starting off with Amira Haroon who quickly became a close friend of mine, designing all of her pieces so adequately and in such details you can’t help but fall in love.

As for Lilli Jahilo her delicate touch in designs are sublime.

 

This entire trip won’t be the only one I hope, and it taught me to appreciate the things I do in life to get to where I am today. It’s always important to believe that hard work pays off.

A piece of heaven on earth

I can now say that I’ve finally had the chance to visit and stand in the midst of heaven on earth.

The best experience I’ve had so far and I would do it all over again with a heartbeat.

The way I decided to explain this to you is with explicit details so that you’d be able to feel like you’ve seen, done, and felt the way I’ve experienced this.

 

Starting off with the hotel, I stayed at the St. Regis Maldives after rave reviews from across the planet! I booked for four nights to get a long overdue break from work, life, and reality. The room, oh my, do they’re like cabins in the midst of the beautiful Maldives seas. They have this cute bike if you enjoy a ride and they offer a cart which is also just a phone call away to pick you up and take you around!

The view from my bed is astonishing I honestly have never seen anything like it before. Walking around from the pool front in the cabin you can choose to just swim with the fish and the beautiful sea creatures. My favorite area for snorkeling and diving! Ahh what a scene! Another favorite of mine was a feature in the room which basically controlled most amenities (curtains, tv, YouTube, music, lights, etc..) on an iPad.. so a literal click of button and voila!

 

Moving on, the restaurants. From jungle themed Arabian restaurants to Asian. My favorite start was the breakfast at Alba but saying that doesn’t do the rest justice. Every restaurant I tried was truly delicious and I’m not just saying that! I’m very picky with food and there’s nothing I did not enjoy! There are some activities you could do during your stay like yoga to keep your self feeling fresh.

Oh wow, writing this I found myself suddenly getting carried away.

 

One last thing, I promise.. because I can’t end this without mentioning the best part of it all. THE SPA! Ah heaven heaven heaven! There’s nothing I’ve experienced in my life that felt better than this.

Yes, I can now say that I’ve waken up in heaven!

Fur Sleeves

I’ve never really thought I’d ever end up wearing something so gutsy before. And ever since I started my blog I learned a number of things, one of those things is to always step out of my comfort zone and take risks! With this in mind and the weather in the UAE, winter here doesn’t necessarily help picking out such outfits but I still didn’t care.

I was going to wear this fur (don’t worry not real fur though) sleeves jacket no matter what! It’s made by this amazingly talented local designer branded by OTT! Im always on the lookout for such genius minds and have nothing but pride in supporting it.

Fashion is truly an art and there’s no better way to honor it than by putting it on display! Yes I also did feel like a peacock but a very chic and trendy one indeed haha

Denim lovin

Here’s what this is.. I am the girl who owns an entire closet of pure DENIM, a girl who has denim as her go-to outfit, and a girl who could never get sick of the denim on denim look! Infact, I am currently on the search for a pair of mom jeans just like the ones I’m wearing here only darker for a look I have in mind.. Involving the basic Gucci Tee and sneakers or a pair of heels to chic it up a bit. 

Back to this outfit, I’ve recently discovered this awesome online boutique that I’ve become quickly obsessed with and as soon as I saw this beautiful pearls and denim cropped shirt I couldn’t help but think of adding more and more pearls to it!

Now seeing as to how I can’t really afford diamonds, I’m going to pretend that for the time-being pearls are a girls best friend. So subtle and believable! And finally, completing my look with my usual touch.. RED!

Bambah girl

Running around the streets of Dubai from one meeting to the other while wearing this beautiful mustard off-shoulder with puff sleeves top. Yes I definitely had to stop and shoot this outfit while I strut the streets of Dubai! It’s two of my favorite trends in one and all created by the genius brains and one of my favorite designers in the UAE Bambah boutique!

had so many different ideas on how to style this top, but for a casual day I went with my comfy mom jeans to give it an 80s fashion touch!  And considering the shoes I wore, I think I did an awesome job jumping around for this shoot!

One last thing, I’m sure you noticed my hair.. (I mean I did not just wake up magically with longer hair) I had extensions on experimenting for a couple of days what do you guys think?

Knotted Belt

Trends nowadays take us back to that wonderful 70’s & 90’s era. The vintage photo-ups, the belts and the sunnies, and most importantly the vibrant colors. We always take risks in life and so should we when pairing an outfit! Step outside your comfort zone and dare to wear the irrational; because only we could rationalize any of our decisions in our own unique ways..

The trend-setter generation that’s what I call us! I promised I’d write more about belts last post and what better way to write than with a demonstration?! I remember at some point of my younger life when my mom forced me to wear belts to hold my pants up so I wouldn’t make a fool out of myself walking around in baggy pants. Now though, belts is more of an accessory than a necessity, but an accessory that has the power to change the dynamic of the entire look!

Take this outfit for example, an over-sized sweater on an off-white pleated skirt. Very basic and well.. boring. Adding this red belt twisting it up to a knot adds life to the outfit and somehow changes the entire dynamic of the look!

So let us all enjoy recreating looks while adding fascinating touches here and there that could one day make people look back and relive our glory days.

Suit up

People always recommend going for the lighter colors for summer looks, and I am almost always one to disagree!

I could wear an all white outfit every season because well.. white outfits are everything to me.. more or less an obsession! So calming and relaxing.

 

As much a I want to avoid pinpointing every small detail about this outfit, I simply can’t! This suit was paired with such adequate detail and constructed to perfect a suit out of different items that could fool even myself into thinking it wasn’t just made for this! So suit up, I’m about to start.. Paired with different shades of white starting with a white blazer, creamy pants, and a pearly fringed belt! Leaving me with my final touch of sass by adding a colorful statement to this outfit, my favorite floral pumps.

actually prepared this outfit after getting my hands on this beautiful belt from my amazingly talented designer friend “Anatomi” and immediately fell in love with it!

I remember at some point when belts were a necessity and then suddenly went out of trend. Well I’m more than happy that belts became the new accessory trend which I will be covering more in detail on my next post. Stay tuned..

Merry Christmas

Something I’ve dreamt of seeing my entire life, it would never cross many of your imagination.. and that is experiencing snow!
Yes, Traveling around the world does not accompany the luxury of seeing snow for me. A true dream come true. It took me back to my childhood making me feel like it’s Christmas finally! Oh and what a wonderful feeling it was

Cherishing the moments I spent under the white frosty trees with absolute joy, having my family alongside me, I truly couldn’t have asked for anything more than that on such a beautiful day!
With all the love and happiness I had, I couldn’t help but share these truly wonderful moments with you.

As Christmas approaches, I wish you all love, happiness, health and prosperity to you and your loved ones. May it be a Merry Christmas to all and a very snowy cozy one indeed 🏼

Healthy Hair

Over the years, I’ve tried different hair products to sustain healthy hair. With

me being me, trying out different hairstyles and coloring it every now and then

is a must and could eventually cause lots of damage to the hair; like making it

weak and thinning out the roots.

I have to be honest, as soon as I heard about CYNOS products I was quick to

think that it was impossible to have a product with 0% sulfate, silicone, and

Parabean that could actually improve the strength of my hair.. But, I was

wrong! Trying out the CYNOS Intense Repair shampoo and conditioner for

almost 2 weeks now with every hair wash was beneficial because it didn’t feel

like I was using hundreds of chemicals to get rid of the unnecessary chemicals

on my head.

What I did was, I used the CYNOS hair mask after drying out my hair with a

towel, and applied the hair mask on for 15 minutes then washed it. I did this

process three times already and definitely feel like it revitalized the roots of my

hair with the natural oils in the product protecting and reviving the strength of

my hair.

I truly believe that this product is beneficial after trying it out for a couple of

weeks and I highly recommend it.

Cynos

Strut in style

Oh when it comes to street style shoots this will be a favorite of mine!

It started off with a couple of snaps by the beautiful stairs and as I walked away to hydrate this was actually taken! It wasn’t planned and yes it turned out to be my favorite!

  

Strutting around in my beautiful shoes soaking up the sun in a vintage floral culottes and a simple grey top is all I needed. I know, I always try to make it sound so easy; it truly isn’t haha! The secret is and I love how I could subtly quote drake here “started from the bottom”. To me it’s almost ALWAYS the shoes I start with when choosing the ultimate outfit pairing.

 

 

And I think that’s why some of the times I make life so difficult.. not in this case though, as soon as I saw those shoes, the pants was just a must. Got it from a vintage store during my last trip to Italy and the floral print got me going crazy! Hence, the confidence I had walking around in the pair. Tied hair back for a simple look, merely to take nothing away from the outfit and voila!

 

Who would’ve thought that I’d get to snow a week after this sunny day.. oh wait, right ME

Winter habits

It takes courage to walk around in bright colors, in colors that stand out. It is winter season and breaking the all around habit of going for the cozy formal winter clothes, it doesn’t always have to be dark! We think winter our mind automatically goes to dark and gloomy oversized clothing.

Breaking the rule as per the usual; with an option of adding a long coat for my viewers in the south, north, west, and east (because apparently it’s winter around the world except here), an off-shoulder courageous pink winter outfit along with my nude loubs and a brown bag.

Moral of the story: subtlety is safe, courage is always an eye opener and a way for you to be the talk of the night.. in a good way I hope! 💕

Turkey Season

Finding color themes to go with winter and of course the turkey and mashed holidays..  thanksgiving!

So I recently discovered Reebonz online which made life much easier for me when I shopped for some of my favorite brands with a click of a button. Which brings me to this next point of discussion, the Chloe bag..

My favorite item for this season is this velvet burgundy Chloe beauty! Ahh I truly based the entire outfit on the bag as soon I got my hands on it! Paired with a wide cuff knit top along with brown slim fit trousers.

You always have the easy choice of putting on any pair of nude shoes for an outfit like this just merely to stick with the color theme. I mean at this point I’m sure you all have noticed that my preference has always been the nudes!

Home away from home

A weekend away from home..

Featuring Kempinski hotel mall of the emirates and my weekend getaway staying at their recently launched Aspen Ski Chalets.

First off, being a resident in the UAE the chances of seeing actual snow is slim to none. So, having to wake up to the view of the snowy slopes of Ski Dubai by the fire place felt absolutely sublime! The spacious bedrooms, the walls, the kitchen, ahh that marble bathroom was literally everything!

The phrase “home away from home” works perfectly with this.. Onto my outfits for this weekend’s getaway, I wore my favorite Asos jeans paired with a sassy cropped top.

Moving on to a light blue ruffle dress to go with the Spanish paella I had for dinner hahaha.. cheeky I know, but I had to go for it!

I honestly am counting the days to my next visit at the hotel, thanking it for the memories..

It’s MFW

After spending so much time in preparation and anticipation for my first ever abroad fashion week, sharing this milestone with my best friend who I had the pleasure of styling as well, I am so excited to share my looks throughout this fabulous week!

I’ve taken so much time prepping myself for the streets of Milan and on my first ever Milan Fashion Week show I decided to go with the trendiest of items this year and strut my way through the first show in my casual denim on denim pick of the day.

Wearing a custom handmade denim jacket for the cool winter breeze paired along with this high waist mom jeans with flared frill hem. As for the shoes, looking for chic on the casuals, my new pair of gold block heeled mule sufficed! Making my statement in denim

Fadeaway

It begins with what they call a “fadeaway”

The work done on this piece is absolutely stunning.. A vision of art and that is something I adore about fashion. It’s not always outfits and clothes, it’s creativity and artistic ability!

 

I am generally inspired by little things.. Things that don’t necessarily stand out but do have a creative aspect about them.

I really didn’t need to do much with this outfit.. Accessories none! I wanted to wear a pair of nude shoes but went with brown for a small change in the pastels unit. Straight hair, simple make up.. I practically stood there for twenty minutes snapped photos in different plain backgrounds and they all worked! When inspirations turn passions into reality..
